My late best friend Mike on the left...and some other dude on the right. Okay, okay...it's me. Shit. Cut me some freakin' slack. What you can't see is the person (I think it was Donna Walston) pointing a 30.06 rifle at the middle of my head. Yeah...she made me do it.
I'd say this was taken around 1978.

Well Carlos I have never seen this picture. I see you and I see Mike but the only thing I think Donna might be holding is a camera to shoot this shot. I am so thrilled you posted this for two reasons 1) You look fab. as a cheerleader and 2) I miss Mike

I miss Mike too. I still think about him quite often. And I still look up at the sky and shake my fist at him for leaving WAY before us. Bastard! :-) I'm sure he approves of my ire.
I haven't spoken to his parents or sister in years. I visited them in the late 80s or early 90s. Sometimes I think I'd like to send his folks a short note to the old address, but then I think I'd hate to be a painful memory coming back to hurt them. Know what I mean?
