Salt Lake Layover

I got on the plane in Reno and had a decent window seat. About five minutes after I was seated, the most humongous human being in all of Reno came strolling down the aisle with a flight attendant leading the way. The short of it is that I was displaced. Just my luck, I thought. I could have stayed, but I would’ve been sitting next to this giant, squashed against the bulkhead….cheek flattened against the window. The flight attendant picked a suitable alternate for me with lots of leg room – Emergency exit row. Sweet. I slept on the 53 minute flight to Salt Lake.

It’s been two hours and fifteen minutes since I got off the plane here in Salt Lake City. Only an hour and a half to go before my flight to San Antonio boards.

I’ve been enjoying a light codeine buzz (intermingled with excruciating pain), people watching, dozing, emailing, texting, and sometimes wishing someone would come up behind me and put a .45 caliber slug in the back of my head.

I need to eat soon. The only thing I’ve eaten since I went to bed Saturday night are a bowl of soup and an enchilada plate.

There’s a TCBY down the way and frozen yogurt sounds really fucking good right about now.

Go for the TCBY, it will rock your world.

Here's hoping for safe leg home and a four day weekend to recoop.

I'd like to hear the fat guy story.
How come you had to change seats and did they ask you to change seats because he was so large? How did they phrase it???
