Monday Afternoon

Today was a good day, all things considered. I stayed up way too late last night and got up way too early. I was tired at work, but it went by fairly quickly, with the exception of the last 45 minutes, during which I thought I’d fucking die.

Shelley wasn’t at work today. As a matter of fact, my alter ego will be gone all week on business – Somewhere I could dig being right about now. Work is tolerable, but it ain’t the same without her there. She really is a dear. She did buy me lunch in absentia. See, she left her lunch in the fridge at work on Friday and was kind enough to bequeath it to me. It was delicious. Thank you!

The drive home today with The Girl was fun. We did a lot of laughing. She said, “you’re stupid” a number of times, which pleases me because she’s laughing hard when she says it. We did a little grocery shopping before heading home. A pretty girl with a baby smiled politely at me while I was moseying into the produce section. It caught me off guard. Most people these days are so unfriendly. She smiled at The Girl too.

When I got home I fetched the mail. An old woman was standing up on the hill by her mailbox, checking her mail. I smiled, hoping she was enjoying life.

I bought three pumpkins, among other things. The Girl and I will disembowel them tomorrow night. I’ll be cleaning and baking the little seeds. I have green and red chili powder, so I’ll have a variety.

Missed not being around you at work also. Marty gets very loud and very condescending at these things. Also, she is not very receptive to change. Tomorrow should be better - the meeting will be on a much larger scale.

Glad you enjoyed the lunch. It is better than the poor thing going to waste. I ate the other half of it late Friday night before going to bed for the second time. Sometimes you just fall asleep too early and wake up around 11:00 famished. It hit the spot.

Hope you have a better day tomorrow - just remember you will have tacos for breakfast!!!

Want me to tell San Diego you said hello?

Fuck the Red Sox, fuck baseball, fuck Chuck, and most importantly, FUCK New England.

Mufuckas can't just beat people, no, they gotta trample people. Mufuckin' Patriots won 52-7, that is some bullshit right there. At some point it's safe to assume you fuckin' won.

Shelley you better get back fast! Carlos will be down and board until you do. The last thing we need is for him to rear end another dwarf. It can get expensive.

so how many pairs of Action Jeans do you own, Carlos? ;)

I don't have any "Action" jeans. What I really wish they'd develop is some goddamm "Action" underwear. Think of the fun and general hijinks you could get into wearing a pair of "Action" boxer-briefs. Woo. Hoo.

I hope you're surviving the week so far without Shelly.:(

You're gonna share that pumpkin seed recipe now aren't you? LOL. I don't know what to do with these things.

Shell: Aw…you’re a sweetheart. Marty…yes. I remember her well from one meeting. Real peach. Funny when you consider she really ain’t as awesome as she thinks she is ;-) The rest of the week has been okay. Busy, but just okay. Hurry the fuck up and get back already. You know the two you left me working with…feel my pain. Feel sorry for me.

Woozie: Did we forget our Ritalin this morning Wooz? Fuck the Patriots, yes. But the Sox? Dude. They’re one of the few major league squads who are actually respectable.

Bunny~n~Early: Tell her!

WebMiz: Hey stranger. Hope you’re doing well! No action jeans for me! I don’t even remember the fuckers from the 70s. Hell, for all I know I might’ve wanted a pair!

Nigel: Action Underwear! No shit! I think you’re on to something.

Nay: You know…..I am, but I’ve grown accustomed to having her there. Ever work with someone like that? Her absence leaves a vacuum. Know what I mean jelly bean?

Margie: I shall if you want them. I tried a trial run of a microwave (really!) version that came out pretty good. I think if I do the microwave version and then finish them up in the oven they’ll be perfect!
