My dear Shelley is on her way home from the East Coast as I type. The first flight was late, so she had to reschedule her connecting flight. As such, she won’t be home until around 11:30pm or so….strike that – she just called (what a trip!), and she’s going to be even later. Delta has delayed the connecting flight because they don’t have enough flight attendants, if you can fucking believe that!
It’s no wonder Corporate America is in the shitter. If a multi-zillion dollar airline can’t fucking ensure there are enough God damned flight attendants to sling peanuts, goldfish and $5.00 drinks; and lead us out of an aircraft in the event we even survive a crash or crash-landing, our nation’s future is most indubitably bleak.
I hate to see Shelley go through this kind of bullshit inconvenience. I wish we could trade places so I could do all the sufferin’ for her.
