Three Word Wednesday

The rules, if you wanna call 'em that, are here.
Today's Words: Drip, Hypnotic, Sulk

It's been nearly 18 months since I last played this game. Forgive my rust.

Depression
People weren’t supposed to sulk like this, but the drip she used to be married to ruined her emotionally. The stress-induced tinnitis was hypnotic. She soon slept.

Nicely done. Those partners certainly can change us, can't they?

It's been forever since I've played, too. Well done!

(I love how you used drip, lol.)

i like what you said... i was somewhat distracted by the highlighted words.. i understand the reason, but, like a dog who sees a squirrel, my eyes fly there no matter how hard i try to ignore them.

Nicely done, clever use of the word 'drip'!

AnthonyNorth: Thank you. Indeed they can change us!

Stan Ski: LOL. Thanks!

Linda Jacobs: :-) I know how many people play this game, and how time consuming it can be to read long submissions.

ThomG: Thanky pardner, both for the welcome and the compliment!

TC: You should play then! It’s fun! And thank you.

Quin Browne: I started doing that in my longer submissions. I suppose with more concise posts I could leave the text alone. I know what you mean, re the dog/squirrel analogy. Sounds like me: “Ooh, look – Shiny!”

Andy Sewina: Thank you. Glad you liked the usage. My mother use to use that work prolifically!

There is this wonderful charm in the short and sweet thing.
I too have not been much around the circuit lately.
Nicely done.

That's great! I liked how you used the prompt words. A short piece that says so much.
