I have a splitting fucking headache right now. At least I got to spend the day working at home.

I was expecting an electrician to stop by today at 11:00am based on an appointment I made two days ago. Of course, the dumbasses didn’t show. I called around 11:20am and was told that they’d had “a problem with Robert.” I wonder if they could tell by the tone of my voice that I couldn’t care less about any problems Robert has. As a matter of fact, I’m secretly hoping that ol’ Bob has a case of the clap, or has acquired a malady that will require the close attention of an aggressive homosexual proctologist. The least ol’ Bob could have done was call (as he promised) when it looked like he wasn’t going to make it. I don’t plan on using them to do any work but, just to cut into their profits, I made a 3:00pm appointment for an estimate tomorrow. I’ll see how much of their time I can waste.

To top the day off, the OTHER electrical company I called two days ago for an estimate hasn’t come by yet. This company put me in “Steve’s” 3:00pm to 5:00pm slot. It’s 4:15pm right now. Considering my luck with contractors, this dip shit won’t show up either. (Is dipshit hyphenated? Two words? One word?)
