8/23 PAT ROBERTSON

How exactly does Pat Robertson figure into world politics? Who exactly is Pat Robertson to publicly call for the assassination of the democratically elected president of Venezuela? And isn't it, oh, just a tad hypocritical for an ordained Southern Baptist minister to suggest killing a fellow human being? Don't Southern Baptists believe in the Ten Commandments, and isn't one of those commandments "Thou Shalt Not Kill"?

I'm going to try to keep politics out of this Blog, but I just can't help spouting about the hypocrisy of this lunatic named Pat.

The guy is a real piece of work. Anyone who would claim to have successfully steered hurricanes (Gloria of 1985 and Felix of 1995) is just one taco shy of the combination plate in my humble opinion.

One of my favorite Pat claims is that feminism is a "socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians."

Since I don't think I could get away with "taking out" Pat Robertson, I'll have to think of something else. Hmm....Well, after five seconds of deep, contemplative silence, I've decided that, since I don't subscribe to any commandments forbidding me from wiping my ass with toilet paper effigies of ordained Southern Baptist ministers, I'm going to get going and get Googling!
