8/26 TGIFF

The 2nd electrician actually showed up yesterday afternoon. If you can believe it, the company dispatcher called to tell me he was running a little behind schedule; then called again to tell me when he was en route. That's how you run a fucking business; not like that other company.

That other company is already one minute late for the make-up appointment I made with them today. Fuckers!

Not much went on at work today. As a matter of fact, it was dull as hell. So I left a half hour earlier than the 2:30pm I'd planned on.

No big plans for the weekend. I'll be getting my fishing stuff together for next weekend. We're headed to the coast; Mustang Island to be exact. Rented a three-bedroom condo for the long weekend. Should be nice.

One of our friends backed out of the trip today. She was going to pony up $600 to help (the whole weekend's going to run about $1,800). Her excuse was pretty weak and neither my wife nor I believe it for a minute. We think she's just short on $, which is no problem. Hell, I would've covered them anyway. Not now though.

I'll see if I can remember to take my digital camera. Hell, that'll be the easy part. Remember to take pictures might not be too easy though!

Believe it or not, the bastards didn't show. They were supposed to be here at 3:00pm. So I'm leaving to run some errands. What kind of company does business like this? Pretty sad.
