Rock On, Bitches

I took today off to have my Fathers Day gift installed. The Boy followed me over to Best Buy around 10:15a.m. to drop the car off. I picked it up around 3:00pm and the Sony CDX-GT300 AM/FM/CD/CD-RW/CD-R deck and Infinity speakers just plain ol’ kick ass. My head is still rocking. Here’s what I cycled through on the test drive home and while sitting in the driveway:

King Bee – Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush
Funk 49 – Joe Walsh
La Grange – ZZ Top
Beef Bologna – Fear
Groove is in the Heart – Dee Lite
Are You Gonna Be My Girl – Jet
Stranglehold – Ted Nugent
Hash Pipe – Weezer
Keilbasa – Jack Black
Moonage Daydream – David Bowie
No One To Depend On – Santana
War – Edwin Starr
War Pigs – Black Sabbath
Viva La Bam Theme Song
Keep on Chooglin’ – Credence Clearwater Revival
Shining Star – Earth Wind and Fire
Pica Pica – Kinito Mendez
Beer – Reel Big Fish
Coast to Coast – Trapeze
Whole Lotta Rosie – AC DC
I Heard You Been Layin’ My Ol’ Lady – Rusty Weir
Crosseyed Cat – Muddy Waters
Shuttered Room – The Fix
Whammer Jammer – The J. Geils Band
My Love Strike Like Lightnin’ – Muddy Waters
Bladie Mae – Johny Winter
Mellowship Slinky in B Major – Red Hot Chili Peppers

I didn’t listen to every song its entirety. I just sampled them. I was enjoying myself immensely.

The familia was good to me. I really like my new toy. It even has a remote control in case I’m too lazy to reach for the stereo. The best part? I no longer have to listen to the shit those young whippersnappers listen to these days with their lame-ass subwoofers.

Memory Du Jour:
1983, Key West, Florida
We were drinking (we did a lot of that) at Sloppy Joe's Bar one night. You may remember “Biff” from a previous Story. He was mucho drunk-o, and he was mighty proud to announce that he was leaving with a chick. She walked ahead of him out of Sloppy’s. When she was out of earshot, and nearly at the pizza joint across the street, we almost all said at once, “Mark, that’s a dude man!!” No way. He wasn’t having any of it and, after a couple of obligatory “Fuck you’s,” he walked after his “date.” When he got to the other side, and they were both under the fluorescent light of the little pizza place we saw Biff’s expression change. We all laughed. He covered the distance across Duvall St. in a few short seconds. When he was upon us, he announced that he could “see his fucking whiskers sticking through the makeup.” That was so fucking funny. Poor ol’ Biff. I often wonder what became of him.

Graphic Du Jour:
I had a good one...but images aren't fucking uploading....in IE or Firefox.

Democracy in Germany? OMG.
Poor Biff. He probably ended up marrying a transexual, and then in jail for killing him/her.

You are soooo spoiled! A car is not a car without a kick ass stereo system. You can here us coming from a mile away. We are the people that irritate everyone else at the stop lights cause we vibrate their cars. We have the unbelievable full boom system that makes everything sound awesome!
Oh and fucking whiskers sticking through the makeup, a dead give away...

Jules: I was thinking the same thing: Shocking!

Y: I wish I was spoiled. I really like this gift though. I am probably one of the easiest people on the face of the planet to please. I don’t need much, and appreciate little things. I remember I got some hedge clippers for Fathers Day. Not ordinarily a gift I’d love to get, but I was so hating trimming the hedges with the old school clippers.

Whistler: I’ll be rockin’ out on the way to work this morning. I hope the loud music doesn’t dislodge my zipper on the way. At least it’s somewhat dark on the way to work and my winders are tinted :-)

Nay: Hello back to you girl. Hope all is well with you. Email an update when you get a chance.

WebMiz: Yeah....Tenacious D is hilarious. My son turned me on to that and I was hooked. LOL at the Italian suggestion. I hadn’t thought of that, but I should’ve thought of that!

Y: I’ve been slacking in my DIG posts. I’ll try to dig up some material. God knows there’s no shortage of it!
