Happy Thanksgiving
What started out as a small Thanksgiving for five, has turned into a dinner for twelve – at our house, of course. Once upon a time I really used to enjoy the holiday season. I don’t care for it so much any more. It’s just too much damned work. I'm sure I'll have a good Thanksgiving - I just wish it was a little fucking smaller.

Shelley was released yesterday afternoon. She’s doing well – Understandably weary, but well. I dropped some work stuff by her apartment yesterday after she got home and had a nice little visit with her and her mom.

Work it sure is. Hours and possibly days of cleaning, cooking, shopping and doing everything perfect so it all comes out just right....
Then the marauders just dig in, spill the gravy, drink the cooking sherry and your last beer....
The entire meal gone in 10 minutes.
Alas, but at there's nothing better than a Turkey sammich later.

I like the video...it is pretty good. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving, even though it more than doubled in size. I understand a lot of guys like things that double in size - just not Thanksgiving? Yeah, I'm back.

Margie: And I did a little more work than I usually do during Thanksgiving. We have tons of leftovers. I’ll be making turkey soup, chowder, and a bunch of other yummy stuff.
Shelley: There you are! Thanksgiving wasn’t as bad as I figured. Not exactly small and quiet the way I like ‘em, but not terrible. Woulda been better if you would’ve taken up The Warden’s offer and come over for cocktails though. I’m glad you’re back.
