I'm Rich!

That’s right folks; I am the United States’ newest millionaire! I just watched a news story on the teevee that told me as much. All I have to do is go to the bank this afternoon and exchange all my dollars for Zim Dollars. Now where’s all the fabulous bitches who s’posed ta be mackin’ on me?

News
The big news story in San Antonio this morning is fog. That's right folks - Fog is making the headlines. I supposed I can understand why – people in this town have a bit of a difficult time driving in anything other than sun.

What’s better, is a local reporter – live on the scene of the fog – reported “little bits of water” doing something or another. No shit. She actually reported little bits of water. Aren’t little bits of water known as mist? Fog? Maybe even rain? The reporter, Kristina de Leon, is a regular on my blog It’s your Damned Language. Here’s a link to her special contributions.

This is sad and funny all the same. Kinda makes you go HMMMMM at the quality of education that is coming out of the mainstream.

Not only that, but she said to stay "at least one car length behind or in front of the car behind you". What kind of dumbass statement is that?

wait..shelly...isnt the normal following distance three car lengths?

So during fog we should get closer to the person in front of us?

FlyinFox: Yes it is. My kids go to private schools, and there is nearly NO grammar taught in either the HS or the college. It's awful.

Woozie: Buy you that bucket of fuckin' chicken I owe you.

Shelley: I missed that one! It's a statement worthy of a local newscaster. ;-)

Gator: I don't remember the formula...but it's X number of lengths or something for each 10MPH you're going. Shelley knows. She told me yesterday and I promptly forgot. I remember 2 seconds (more for rainy conditions) behind.
