Anniversary

One year ago today, at about 1:15pm, I got a call at work from the security/alarm company that there were glass-break and fire alarms going off in the house.

The next 15 minutes were spent in my car driving home at 120mph.  I watched our home and all our possessions, including two precious cats, irreplaceable family heirlooms, burn.  It was horrendous.

Today I feel better than then, obviously, but there is still a piece of my heart missing.
