Walken hosted SNL once when they did a Behind the Music spoof of Blue Oyster Cult. It was one of my all time favorite SNL skits. Here's a link to a clip of it. Freakin' hilarious, even if the video quality's questionable. Second row down, middle clip:

And for governor of Texas? Ever heard of Kinky Friedman? He's hilarious on the radio talk shows, and I think he'd be a breath of fresh air compared to the political status quo. His 2006 gubernatorial election motto? "Why the hell not?"

I happened to have just caught the SNL a week or so ago, it was a very funny skit. Chrisopher Walken is one of my favorite actors. I don't find it to be a far fetch for Mr. Walken to run for president (hey we had Regan) but I think he may need to start in a smaller arena like Arnold and Jesse have done.

I agree. Hell, if he runs, and our only other choices are the status quo, mainstream, Republicans & Democrats, I'll vote for him!
