Three Word Wednesday
Get your words here.
The rules, if you wanna call ‘em that, are there too.
A Dream
The background music swings. Everything is perfect. I haven’t seen you for years, but I feel an uncanny connection with you. We’re not young any more, yet we’re not quite so old. Laughter erupts as we recall something stupid we did in our youth. Leaning against a short, vine-covered wall near the outdoor bar, we struggle to catch our breath. I see the sparkle in your blue eyes and miss you, though you’re only a foot away. [queue alarm clock]

Very nice!! I think we've all been there...feeling that connection we once had with someone from our youth...only to drive away (or wake up) thankful for the life we have now :-) Short sweet and very to the point! Love it!
awesome prose, dude!
don't know if it's the meds or not, but the 3WW is a bit much for my brain right now, but I love what you did with it. just right :)
I love the feeling of reconnecting with somebody. You captured that perfectly
I forgot to thank you for your wonderful comment :)

Lizzy is my brother in law's sister's boyfriend's daughter. Which makes her a close relative
She's a multi talented art director
when my alarm clock awoke me this morning I was having a dream I was hanging out with some friends and they were shooting up heroin. wtf??? I watch too many movies. ;)
and miss you, though you’re only a foot away.
I really like that part. Like part of you knew it was only a dream. I hate waking up from dreams like that. Nice story, Carlos.
Shelby: Thanks! Glad you did.
Arlene: I’m glad I’m not the only one :-)
Little Sister: Could be the meds, but then again sometimes is just doesn’t come. That’s how it is with me. My blogging, for example, has been pretty uninspired lately. I’m not sure why.
Pia: I do too. Thank you for the wonderful compliment. Oh, and thanks for the good link to the Albom site!
WebMiz: LOL…too many movies is only part of it! :-)
Bone: Thank you!
That was a nice one. Sounds almost like it had some truth to it some where...
I wanna write a short sentence using these three words but can't bring myself to be such a dirty gal.
Great meme' find. Something different... finally.
=O)
Bunny~n~Early: Thank you, and you’re right. :-)
Margie: Oh come on! Don’t be a chicken. I’ll still respect you in the morning! ;-)
Hmm... I went to the site you linked, and you didn'tuse any of the words they listed.
But I liked it anyway!
MissCellania: That's 'cause I'm a huge slacker and haven't posted since the Wednesday before last when those were the words ;-)
