Did you hear about the family who won an $11M lawsuit against a church (I ain’t gonna mention its name)? Seems this fine group of God-fearin’ Christian folks sees a need to protest at the funerals of fallen soldiers because they think our government is too conciliatory to homos. They've been doing it for years. The logic is insane, and so are the weak-minded fucks who are doing it.According to the Baltimore Sun, the $11M is nearly three times the net worth of the church and the three fucks named in the suit. Good.
The founder of this fringe, extremist church said the following in response to the jury’s findings: "The goofy jury threw a fit at God.” No, dumbass – The
jury saw you and your twisted followers exactly as I do: Calculating hypochristian fucks whose actions are contrary to the very tenets of Christianity, and who were found to be monetarily liable for the cruelty you perpetrated on the grieving family and friends of one “God’s children.” Aren’t you supposed to love all of God’s children? Aren’t you supposed to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you?” And what about that pesky Seventh Commandment that says a little something about making wrongful use “of the name of the Lord your God…”?
In addition to the loving, “Christian” signs shown in the picture I’ve posted, they also carry signs with gems like, “Thank God for Dead Soldiers.”
If these assholes showed up at my son’s funeral, the last thing they’d need to worry about was a lawsuit. A good, old-fashioned, common-sense ass kicking is what they’d get.
Fundamentalist, fringe Christian churches like this are eventually going to ruin our country. They recruit the weak-minded to serve uneducated, unqualified, unstable, inhuman pastors, ministers, or whatever-the-fuck-you-call'em, that pull these groups and churches out of their asses. Left unchecked, these types of groups will one day be doing the same deeds fundamentalist, Muslim extremists are doing in the Middle East.
That’s my Sunday rant. I’m off to get some seafood and prepare to watch a little football. Okay, a lot of football.

Thankfully, there are more good Christians here than those like these nutters. What bugs me the most is many soldiers and their families are good Christian peeps and they have to deal with this nonsense.
What they need, besides this lawsuit award and a good ass kicking - is to be done in by a bunch of evangelicals. Laying hands on them and declaring them Deaf, blind and mute by the power of Jesus.
THEN, hand them a few pissed off rattle snakes to hold. We'd see their true colors and lack of faith come through then.
I consider them extremists. No different than those who side with Al Queda (Did I spell that right?).
Anywho, I think they should all be shot. I am wondering why we are wasting time interrogating and being humanitarian with them. Lets remove them from the Genetic make up of our infrastructure and be done with it!
I've seen Al Queda spelled and pronounced so many ways it doesn't matter anymore.
I agree and would shoot them, but from what I practice, doing so would only make me just like 'em.
Guess it's the WWJD propaganda - didn't see Jesus picketing peeps funerals and judging others... just loving and being compassionate towards everyone no matter what their race, religion or vice.

It's a good thing this nation is full to the brim of good christians. Otherwise our government would be plagued by corrupt politicians. We'd have to live in fear of terrorist attacks, national disasters never being cleaned up, hurricanes, fires, school shootings and so on.

I know a hypocritical Christian. He believes New Orleans was hit by Katrina because God made it so. No shit. He told me once: “You don’t mess with God. Ask New Orleans.” The comment so stunned me that I couldn’t even whip out a snarky response. I was thinking, Wow. I know someone who really believes this shit. He despises fags and dislikes Democrats. He’s married, yet he hits on a female coworker in a creepy kinda way. I have mixed feelings though, because he really is a nice guy and would probably give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. It’s just the creepy part that gets me.
