Happy 4,000th

The US death toll in the Iraq Fiasco has reached 4,000. Four thousand men and women have been killed in a war initiated under false pretenses by an inept president. The goals of the invasion have changed over the years (WMDs, evil dictator, etc.), but Death cares nothing about that. He just keeps coming.

Dubya, Cheney, and the rest of those non-serving chickenhawk, political office pussies have the deaths of all 4,000 of these brave men and women on their hands. I hope it haunts them for the rest of their lives.

Ironically, today is the 50th anniversary of the peace sign - that’s two words boys and girls, not one, as in peasign, as Shelley reminds me on occasion.

Interestingly, NBC news reported on Early Today that, in a random poll of Americans – less than 30% of those polled knew the American death toll in Iraq to the nearest 1,000. That, my friends, is unacceptable. I wonder how many of those folks are pro-war, "Christian" Republicans.

So kiddies – be a good American – Oppose this awful war, and support your troops by visiting and giving to one of the organizations listed here. And vote this coming November for the candidate most dedicated to getting us the fuck out of Iraq.

Which candidate is that? I'm sick of all the hogwash so I try not to listen anymore so please inform me which candidate is it most dedicated to ending this war. I know it is not McCain. However ~Y~ did inform me that he is backpedaling the amnesty issue, what a bunch of fucks they are. So please help enlighten me as to which candidates today most opposes the war. ;)

Reneeg, Leonidas has an excellent Iraq exit strategy that involves Persians and a Pit of Death. It has a 100% success rate.

Woozie: I am too brother. I am too.

Nigel: Yessir. Amen.

Nay: You answered your own question dear. McCain said he’ll stay in Iraq 100 years if that’s what it takes to get the job done. The problem is that no one has ever been able to tell us what that job is. WMDs? Evil dictator? Spreading democracy? Stabilizing the region we fucked up to begin with?

There are only three potential presidents: McCain, Clinton and Obama. The process of elimination dictates one vote for anyone but McCain. Voting for McCain will assure generations of deep debt and the continuation of a war with no goal or end in sight.

While Clinton or Obama may not quite tickle your fancy, they are a far cry better than what the Republicans shoved down our throats in 2000 – and what they have to offer this year. I believe either Democratic candidate is more apt to put an end to the war, and stabilize our economy than McCain.

Illegal immigration is small potatoes compared to the money and lives we’re spending in the Middle East. Our economy and the war need the most attention right now. Can you imagine what we could do with all the $ we’re spending in Iraq? I’ll post some data about that in an upcoming post.

That is all :-)

Woozie: I think we should use that strategy in 2009. Get my drift?

Shelley: Peace. Yes. I’m all about peace. Great talking to you last night. I’m glad everything went well yesterday. I think I might sign up for Veterans for Peace.

I'm sick of Iraq and I'm sick of the in your face lies. Mc Cain tells everyone to get screwed on immigration then tells the people he heard them and he changed his mind. Who the fuck believes this shit? Old people and Christians, that's who. I want to kow where they're getting their stupid pills and I want a whole bunch of them so I don't have to watch what the Christians are doing to the country. The young people seem to be the only ones un affected by the stupid pills - they're our only hope, but are they brave enoughh? A vote for Mc Cain is a vote for Bush, simple.

Shelley: I just signed up. I'm gonna get one of those buttons like you have now and hang it in my cubicle at work ;-)

Bunny~n~Early: It really is discouraging, isn't it? The youth of the country are going to save it from dumbassery and demise. I heard a bunch of stuff about McCain on the radio the other day discussing contradictions of beliefs, stances on the war, etc. It's stunning You're right - A vote for McCain is a vote for at least another four years of war, death, and We the People getting ass raped by the privileged, Republican Elite.

Did Woozie ever get his chicken?

Nah. He never did. Never gave me an address. I don't think he's really black ;-)

No doubt he's figured out that white boys can call and ask the postmaster to drive by the address given and see if black folk really live there.

I remember I could always find my grandpas house when he moved just by being given the block he lived on by looking for the pink or light blue house - Beaners!
